Dr. Erin Diamantakis brings years of experience, passion, and dedication to orthodontics. As someone whose journey began as a patient herself, she brings a unique empathy and understanding to every patient’s smile transformation.
Background: A Lifelong Passion for Orthodontics
Born and raised in Shoreham, New York, Dr. Erin’s interest in orthodontics began as a child during her own treatment. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for the field. As a teenager, she began working as an orthodontic assistant at her own orthodontist’s office—an experience that confirmed her dream of becoming an orthodontist and set her on a focused path toward her goal.
Education and Training: A Journey of Dedication
Dr. Erin earned a full scholarship to SUNY Stony Brook, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
After dental school, she returned to New York to complete a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. She practiced as a general dentist for several years before pursuing her specialty training in Orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.

When she’s not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Erin enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Dr. Manny Diamantakis, a practicing dentist in Syosset, NY. Together, they raise their two children, Leo and Kalli, and love being active members of the local community.
